PAID RESIDENCY
UTEP’s preparation program offers an intensive, year-long residency experience where you will gain hands-on experience in a classroom alongside a master mentor teacher while getting paid. You will develop the knowledge, skills, and experiences to be successful in your own classroom, starting day-one.
You will also become a full-fledged member of your school campus and an employee of the school district – all as part of your training. And you will have your UTEP Site Coordinator and community of peers there to support you throughout the experience.
